Photography Cruise
Learn photography from a professional
Sept 17 - Sept 19, 2010
3 days
$500 per person; includes all meals
Join professional nautical photographer Michael Berman for a weekend photography seminar and cruise aboard the Zodiac. The weekend will start with a quick lecture about nautical photography and how to capture the beauty of our historic sailing ship. During the weekend we will photograph on and off the boat learning how to photograph crew action, sailing ships, and the beaches, towns and harbors that we visit during the cruise. In the evening and in the morning before lifting anchor, we will review photographs taken during the previous day, explore printing and image enhancement techniques and discuss topics like proper exposure, filters, composition, camera styles and image storage. Michael will also present his work and review participants portfolios, so in addition to your camera gear, bring prints or digital files to share.
